Success of Our İnönü University Students in the Kuzeyboru Pasta Bridge Competition

The award ceremony of the “2nd Kuzeyboru Spaghetti Bridge Competition,” organized by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Müslüm Murat Maraş with the contributions of İnönü University and Kuzeyboru A.Ş., was held at the İnönü University Indoor Sports Hall.

Organized within the scope of İNÜFEST, the competition attracted great attention as an important event where students showcased their engineering knowledge through modeling, structural analysis, and applied design processes. Going beyond being just a festival, İNÜFEST has become a strong platform where students demonstrate their production, design, and innovation skills, while the Spaghetti Bridge Competition stood out as one of the most remarkable events of the festival.

As a result of the load tests, the “Kuvvet-i Baniyan” team, consisting of Civil Engineering students from İnönü University, achieved a carrying capacity of 242.3 kg, breaking the Turkish record and becoming the champion of the competition.The team "The Iron Bridge" won second place with a load capacity of 131.75 kg. Third place went to the team "Fire and Blood" with 124.39 kg.
