An Interdisciplinary Research Group
M³ LAB — Maraş Mechanics & Materials Laboratory is an interdisciplinary research group established within the Faculty of Engineering at İnönü University under the leadership of Dr. Müslüm Murat Maraş. In addition to fundamental scientific research, the group conducts experimental studies, numerical modelling, prototype development, field applications, digital monitoring systems, and AI-assisted engineering solutions. Through this approach, innovative ideas developed at the laboratory scale are transformed into products, methods, and technologies that can be applied to real-world engineering challenges. The research group actively supports the participation of undergraduate, master’s, and PhD students in research activities. Students are encouraged to transform their innovative ideas into scientific research and to generate academic and technological outputs through TÜBİTAK and BAP-funded projects, national and international scientific publications, patents, prototypes, and technology competitions.
